The MiniMovers System
After observing the high cost of traditional removalists, when moving a short distance, in 1987 Mike O'Hagan developed the MiniMoving system.
By combining professional movers (well-trained employees not subcontractors), with an hourly rate system and allowing customers to do as much as they wish, then topping it all, by giving a Written Guarantee of Care which states that if the MiniMovers people damage anything, then they will fix it, MiniMovers has grown from its humble beginnings to become the largest short distance home and office mover in Australia.
Pre-Packing
With the MiniMovers system, pre-packing your small items can save time and be made easy, by using MiniMovers Pre-packers OR you can pack yourself. These professional packers will pack everything, or only some things, according to your directions. MiniMovers is all about only paying for what you use, yet still receiving a professional move. It should be noted that self packed items are not covered by the Written Guarantee of Care, but where items packed by the MiniMovers Pre-packers are moved by MiniMovers, then the Guarantee applies.
For self packers, we have even simplified what you pack into, by developing a mobile (free to your door, in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne suburbs) do-it-yourself packing materials supply service, called MiniMovers BoxesToYou. Not only do we supply everything you are likely to need to ensure safer transport of your smaller items, but we also have a "how to pack it" video and handy hints to help you get it right. Storage
If you need storage we recommend using Self Storage. You'll get much better security and customer service at a lower moving price because the Storage is nearer you. Click here for the location of most Self Storage facility's in Southeast Queensland. We also believe that we are the moving experts and the storage people are the storing experts. We do not take commissions, preferring to refer our customers to the most conveniently located facility that has an on-site manager (essential for security). Our people will assist with getting the right sized unit for your needs. Our Trucks

The name "mini" is sometimes mistaken for small trucks. Rest easy, we also have big trucks for big moves. In fact we have a range of truck sizes to suit most size home or office moves. All are fully equipped, purpose built furniture trucks, with quick ramps for fast easy loading.
With the MiniMovers system we can supply any number of trained movers who, on your moving day, will not only relocate everything according to your directions, but also take care of any handyman type disconnecting/dismantling and reassembling etc that may be needed. Naturally standard pianos and pool tables are all part of our services.
Payment
Payment is on completion of each of our services, and we have even simplified this by using mobile Eftpos machines which accept any of the major credit cards. Sorry but for safety and convenience we no longer accept cash or Cheques.
How much all this costs rests squarely with you. Put simply, the more you do, the less you use us, and the lower the cost will be to you.
Some customers do nothing, using us to pre-pack - move - set up and then unpack. Most take care of the small items and use us to handle the furniture. Our call centre operates 7 days a week, our movers 7 days and nights a week. Our day rates on Monday to Thursday are discounted, because Fridays and Saturdays are very busy.
Murphy's law operates at its peak when trying to organise dates and times. If you call us at short notice (although short notice moves do not faze us) then Mr. Murphy says we will be booked out at that particular time. So we recommend that as soon as you know WHEN you are moving, to WHERE you are moving, and WHAT you have to move, it's time to organise your move!
